Plot
Storyline
Barry has good intentions when he is released after 8 years in prison, but finding a job is difficult with a prison record, and he can't keep his kid brother or his friend out of crime.
Barry 'Wattsy' Wirth was a model prisoner and is determined to make a fresh start, far away from crime. He proves himself as a cook, but both his former crime partners and the dirty cop who got him jailed as a scapegoat and then harassed him in prison push and prod for Wattsy to return to putting his criminal talent to profitable use for them. Once they have enlisted his gullible adolescent brother Joey and dim mate Johnny Francis 'Spit' Spitieri, Barry accepts. But this time he has his own agenda, and it's full of smashing surprises.
