Instead, before the players assemble, Jack meets Roberta, an enigmatic Swede married to Cuban revolutionary Arturo Duran. With her husband soon captured, Jack falls for her and begins to question his purpose in a country on the brink of collapse and reinvention. As the noose around Batista tightens, unrest simmers, dangers intensify, and Weil is at a crossroads. And shortly before Fidel Castro comes to power, Jack must decide. Will the stone-faced gambler bet everything on love, or will reckless passion draw him deeper into the Revolution than he ever anticipated?
