In the hope of spending a peaceful weekend, French college students and best friends Marie and Alexia head to Alexia's parents' secluded cottage to study. But the girls are unaware that a deranged, sadistic killer prowls the area, slashing innocent victims for his perverse pleasure. And before long, the mysterious murderer breaks into the dark farmhouse in the dead of night, and a brutal massacre ensues.
