Hooper[1978-1hr39min][A LordOfWar Release]

Long known as the best in the business, Sonny Hooper is the stunt coordinator/head stuntman for tyrannical megalomaniac Roger Deal's latest action picture. Hooper took over that role of being the best from Jocko Doyle, his girlfriend Gwen Doyle's father, Jocko who still makes stunt appearances such as at the stuntman's annual charity event. Sonny is starting to show his age, he secretly self-medicating for a chronic back issue with the help of his friend Cully, a fellow stuntman, rather than face reality by going to the doctor. Sonny does start to face his own mortality following an issue with Jocko, and the arrival onto the stunt scene of younger Delmore Shidski, known casually as Ski. Ski takes a more technical approach to stunt work, and due to those technicalities and his age can arguably do stunts that Sonny is no longer able to do or could never do, which to a demanding Roger is an asset for this picture regardless of the inherent risks of such stunts.
