Plot
Storyline
A traumatized survivor of the Kosovo War is drawn into her savior's gunrunning operation, but when she falls for an American in Marseilles, she must decide if she can let go of her past.
Still unable to put behind her the unspeakable horrors of the Kosovo War in 1998-1999, the deeply traumatised Serbian-Albanian, Adria Shala, accompanies Srdjan, her saviour and ruthless deserter, to Belgrade to start a lucrative gunrunning business. But, as Adria learns the ropes--including handling firearms--she will end up in Marseilles, where she unexpectedly finds love in the person of the American expatriate, Shawn Reagan, totally unaware of the imminently dangerous situation that will unearth the painful memories of those dark times. Can Adria let go of the past, and learn how to live again?
