Plot
Storyline
Honest and diligent Police Inspector Indrajeet's life takes a turn for the worse when he must arrest Din Dayal, the father of Shanti, the girl he loves and intends to marry, thus souring their relationship when she openly defends her father, and as a result Indrajeet is transferred and Din Dayal's arrest is overturned. Years later, Indrajeet has retired and is now looking after his adopted daughter, Neelu. Neelu loves Vijay, and Indrajeet arranges their marriage, only to have the couple killed by his enemies. Since the police are of no help, he decides to avenge their deaths on his own, and then he finds out that one of the assailants is Ajit, Shanti's younger brother.
To continue suppressing the workers in his company, multi-millionaire Din Dayal gets a union leader and his wife murdered. When inspector Indrajeet attempts to arrest Dayal, his daughter Shanti intervenes. This angers Indrajeet because Shanti is his beloved, and he decides to cut all connections with her. He adopts Neelu, daughter of the deceased union leader, and years later after his retirement from police service, he attempts to bring her up. Indrajeet gets Neelu married to Vijay, but calamity destroys the couple; they are killed by a group of young boys. Indrajeet lodges a complaint with the police, but instead of arresting the assailants, the police commissioner closes the case, forcing Indrajeet to take the law into his own hands.
