Plot
Storyline
The Lamberts believe that they have defeated the spirits that have haunted their family, but they soon discover that evil is not beaten so easily.
Picking up where the Lamberts' nightmare in Insidious (2010) left off, The Further's sinister darkness seems to have laid roots in the family's life, refusing to let go. As a result, spine-chilling paranormal instances continue to plague Josh and Renai as their past invites a fresh wave of vengeful spirits hungry for their lives and souls. With Elise out of the way, the haunted Lamberts must return to where it all began and look evil in the eye to break the supernatural link that keeps them imprisoned. However, this time, evil is closer than they think. What will it take for Josh to reclaim his family and destroy the evil within?
