Trapped in their boarded-up house deep within a dark forest, Paul has imposed strict self-quarantine on his family after the sudden outbreak of a highly contagious disease. In this isolated setting, interactions with the outside world are limited and only occur when necessary. However, their fragile position worsens when another distressed family arrives at Paul's house, seeking food and shelter.
