Plot:
Masquerade combines the intimacies of a friendship between two teenagers, the love between a mother and her child, and the darker, intolerant side of society. Our goal is to bring awareness and promote positive discussion about an issue that is very real. Being transgender is still largely misunderstood and often deemed a controversial theme - when it is simply a normal state of being. Acceptance will be easier when the transgender population are acknowledged for what they are, rather than what they aren't. If you have ever been subject to or witnessed discrimination of any sort, then this film is for you. This film brings us back to the age-old question, What is normal?
