John Doe: Vigilante (2014)

A crime thriller that follows the story of an ordinary man named John Doe, played by Jamie Bamber, who turns into a vigilante after his wife and daughter are brutally murdered. Frustrated with the justice system's failures, he begins killing criminals and recording the executions, sending the footage to the media. While mainstream outlets edit the videos to show only the killings, an underground group called "Speak for the Dead" publishes the full versions, sparking a nationwide debate on justice and morality. His actions inspire copycat vigilantes, including teenagers, which leads to chaos and unintended consequences. Eventually, John confronts Adam, the man responsible for his family's death, and kills him live on camera before surrendering himself to authorities. The film closes with John Doe on trial for 33 murders, leaving society divided on whether he is a hero or a criminal, highlighting the blurred line between vengeance and justice.
