With a heavy heart, Li Fong, a teenage kung fu fighter, leaves Beijing and Mr Han's martial arts academy behind to relocate to New York City with his mother. Convinced that his days as a dojo student are over, Li gets back in the game when he befriends Victor, a former local boxer and struggling pizza chef in need of a helping hand to save his pizzeria from the ruthless loan shark, O'Shea. But first things first. To help Victor raise enough money, Li must confront the arrogant Connor Day, O'Shea's undefeated champion. As a result, a wise Kung Fu shifu and a brave Karate sensei join forces to train the new kid in town. But does Fong have what it takes to win 5 Boroughs, the city's intense street fighting tournament?
