Plot
Storyline
Based on true events, Lu is a Marine diagnosed with PTSD who sets out years later to find a woman caught in the crossfire during a firefight in Iraq.
I found a story in the 'New Yorker' about a Marine vet, 'Lu' with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or 'Moral Injury' who years later set out to find an innocent family caught in the crossfire during a firefight in Iraq. A woman was shot and her father and two brothers were killed. 'Lu' would later find the family and reach out to the woman via face-book, they would reunite and he asked their forgiveness. Wow! What a powerful story. I sought out 'Lu', and found him ironically on face-book, he granted me life rights and the opportunity to bring awareness to others through film.
