Plot
Storyline
After accidentally killing his competition during a kung fu movie audition, Cheng Lindong is sentenced to seven years in prison, upon which he is released back into the world and the arms of his faithful girlfriend, Ke Lin. In a desperate move for a new life, he changes his identity and finds a job as a sparring partner at a boxing gym subsidized by its wealthy benefactor, Huang Li, who also happens to own a film studio.
Cheng Feng is a former inmate turned action star. When he is at the top of his acting career, he is challenged by an American action star called Peter who as a background in real martial arts. Cheng Feng loses the fight and his life and career spiral downward. Cheng Feng looks for the help of his friends Li Qi, Kui and Ke Lin to bring him back on top. He trains in real martial arts with Li Qi. Kui and Ke Lin help him to turn his life around. After a year of hard training, Cheng Feng challenges Peter. Cheng Feng finally wins the fight and brings respect back for Chinese Kung Fu.
