Bleeding to death and on the run from Honey Fisher, a corrupt land-grabber leading a pitiless gang, gravely wounded gunslinger Cat Stevens finds refuge in the wagon of travelling circus owner Mamy. However, no one is safe around him; when an innocent pays the ultimate price, Cat teams up with his brutish ex-companion Hutch Bessy, years after the events of Ace High (1968). Baby Doll, his mute friend, and a former gunfighter named Thomas join in to stop Fisher from uprooting the inhabitants of a gold-mining town from their properties. And now, there is no turning back. With guns having the final say, can this deadly quartet, aided by the entire circus troupe, rid the land of Fisher and his cut-throats once and for all?
