Plot
Storyline
Raffaele and Lucia are on their wedding trip to Rome with ever-present Nona Sabela. When Sabela learns that some Americans are interested in finding petrol in one of her properties she jumps with joy, and states that all her wealth will go to her first female granddaughter. This makes his son-in-law Emilio back in Pollena cook up a false pregnancy for his wife Carmelina, Sabela's sister, secretly adopting an infant so that they can get the money.
Donna Sabella accompanies her nephew Raffaele and Lucia on their honeymoon in Rome when he meets two Americans who want to go to Pollena because there seems to be oil in the soil "The bubbles". Immediately Sabella abandons Lucia and Raffaele and goes back in search of oil. But the ownership of the land is regulated by a will that assigns it to the first female heir between the children of Raffaele and Lucia and those of Emilio and Carmelina, all yet to come. Donna Sabella will want to make her voice heard.
