Plot:
After losing all his money playing cards, Don Mendo Salazar, Marques de Cabra go to the house of his beloved Magdalena, daughter of a friend of the King. There, they are discovered by her fiance, Don Pero, Duque de Toro. Don Mendo thief poses as not to stain her honor and is enclosed. Although Don Mendo promised he would not say anything about their affair, she asks her father to be executed.
