Plot
Storyline
Young Carol Henderson ends up in prison, where she must learn how to survive in an environment plagued by violence, murder, rape, racism, drugs, and staff corruption and brutality.
Linda Blair plays Carol, a young woman who must serve 18 months in prison after accidentally killing a man. The prison turns out to be brimming with decadence, corruption, and sleaze; the other female inmates are sadistic and the guards and warden are no better. Racial tensions are high as the inmates are divided into two factions who must either unite against the management or kill one another trying.
