Plot
Storyline
Jacques is an actor who runs away to the countryside to escape his gambling debts. He meets Simon, a rough and wily farmer who manipulates him into a business relationship. After a difficult start, the men help each other grow marijuana. They happen to meet Francesca, a sharp young woman who soon embraces their venture. By the time they get to the winter harvest, the three have learned to live together, but outside forces threaten the delicate balance of their little business...
Les mauvaises herbes raconte l'histoire de Jacques (Alexis Martin), un acteur rate de la metropole force de se sauver a la campagne parce qu'il est poursuivi par Patenaude (Luc Picard), un dangereux preteur sur gages. Sur sa route, il croise Simon (Gilles Renaud), un autre homme au destin rate, qui cultive une passion secrete. Jacques deviendra l'employe de Simon et les deux se lieront d'une certaine amitie jusqu'a l'arrivee impromptue de Francesca (Emmanuelle Lussier-Martinez) qui deviendra malgre elle une employee de la petite entreprise du bourru personnage. Le petit groupe cultive les mauvaises herbes jusqu'au jour ou le preteur sur gages psychopathe arrive sur les lieux pour regler le compte a Jacques.
