These legendary tales, first written by Clarence Day, for the New Yorker Magazine, were developed into "Life With Father," the longest-running non-musical play in Broadway history. This Hollywood adaptation resulted in a faithful and delightful retelling, starring William Powell, Jimmy Lydon, Irene Dunne, and Elizabeth Taylor. A dispute with the Day estate forced the film to be withdrawn from circulation after its initial run, and it only resurfaced again many years later. It is now available for all to enjoy.
