Plot
Storyline
Reclusive gym manager Lou falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou's criminal family.
1989. With her eyes fixed on the grand prize, winning a national bodybuilding competition in Las Vegas, Jackie, a driven Oklahoman runaway, winds up in Lou's grimy Crater Gym. Surrounded by the sound of weights clanking and the lingering smell of sweat, Lou, a taciturn loner who still hasn't found the guts to leave town, decides to take a chance on the muscular outsider. But as the perfect strangers fall hard for each other, sharing an electrifying emotional bond, self-destructive revenge and shocking violence creep into their romance.
