They also make friends with nearby Shoshone chief Sharp Claw's band, whose sister married white Sean McClain and provides Missie domestic coaching. Thieving ruffians Trent and Mason's gang also includes orphan Sonny Huff, who saw no alternative to provide for his kid brother Jeff.
