Plot
Storyline
The story of the first-ever trial of Viagra in the world, in Swansea, Wales, in 1994. "Men Up" follows the story of a group of new friends who meet on the trial and the effect this revolutionary pill has on their relationships at home.
A fictionalized account of the medical trials of the drug Sildenafil--more commonly known as Viagra--which took place in Swansea, South Wales in 1994. The drama focuses on the lives of five men--Meurig, Colin, Peetham, Eddie, and Tommy--as they seek an opportunity to alleviate the impotence from which they all suffer. As the men progress through the trial, they admit to some home truths and come to terms with other factors which are affecting them.
