Wrapped up in a business deal with Lord Epping, Dennis nearly forgets his wedding anniversary. Carmelita decides to teach him a lesson by faking a trip back to Mexico, but when Dennis arrives with an ex-flame his hot-tempered wife runs off to Reno to file for divorce. Uncle Matt goes to Reno to retrieve Carmelita while Dennis tries to close the deal with Lord Epping. Meanwhile Dennis's business rivals try to get in touch with Lord Epping, who is being confined to Dennis's apartment. When they fly to Reno looking for him, Uncle Matt must once again impersonate the British aristocrat. But things get confusing when the real Lord Epping shows up in Reno, followed by Dennis, Aunt Della, and Lady Epping.
