Plot
Storyline
Catherine's world goes to pieces when she learns from the police that her husband Donald got killed - shot in the apartment of a prostitute! To her he was a model husband, determined to make them wealthy by investment banking. Catherine visits the call girl Marla and they befriend each other. But soon they're both threatened by filthy guys who are on the search for something that Donald stole from them.
Stockbroker Donald Todsen is shot in Hollywood hooker Marla's place during one of his weekly 'visits'. His naive, spoiled widow Catherine had no idea. After she and Marla are threatened by two criminals to give 'it' up, whatever 'Donny' was killed for, they team up to find out. Lieutenant Stryker and his police sergeant discover Donald was planning to flee to Rio after liquidating all his assets, investment business partner Frank claims to know nothing.
