- Short biography: Alicia Blickfeldt is a classical crossover soprano who has created a unique niche in the music world and is calling it EpiClassical. She is a lyricist, author, creator and warrior, having holistically healed from stage 3 cancer, as well as being run over by a truck (detailed in her book: They Said I Would Die). Her glorious voice will transport you and fill you with powerful emotion. She studied under opera star, Hans Gregory Ashbaker and accomplished soprano and educator, Karen Brookens Bruestle at Weber State University. Ms. Blickfeldt has sung in a variety of venues, including productions with the Salt Lake Pops Orchestra, the Davis County Symphony, the Utah State Capitol and multiple locations throughout the United States and abroad, including the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence, Italy. She has been nominated for the Utah Music Awards twice and been voted #1 in multiple music festivals and Internet musical ranking sites. In 2014, Ms. Blickfeldt was challenged with some of life's most difficult circumstances - cancer and a horrible truck accident - neither of which have stopped her from following her vision of filling the world with light through music. Her new album, Of Light ~ Escape to Another World released in September of 2019. She has also released several music videos previously and is in the process of creating many others. Alicia's focus is to create music videos that draw you in through powerful emotions and then leave you in a place of hope and encouragement. She enjoys delivering public performances that lift others out of the norm, transporting them into a place of peace. She is a powerful force for good.
