- Short biography: Kanchi Wichmann is a British writer/director based in Los Angeles. Her debut feature Break My Fall (UK, 2011) was theatrically released in the UK and Germany and has sold to over 20 territories via Paris-based sales outfit Reel Suspects. In September 2023 a new director's cut of the film Break My Fall (Redux) was released online worldwide. In 2017 Wichmann wrote and directed a ten-episode web series set in the Berlin queer scene called Mixed Messages, which was released by Peccadillo Pictures.
