- Short biography: Nisheeta Keni is the writer, director and producer of the Marathi language feature film 'Bogda' which released theatrically in 2018 and streamed on Netflix India for three years. It is now streaming on the Indian streaming platform Zee5. It was shortlisted at Venice International Film Festival and also for India's entry to the Oscars. In 2020 she co-founded Dragon Water Films. She co-produced 'Meeraa' which was an LGBTQ+ themed web-series. She then line-produced 'Khabsurat' for Vikramaditya Motwane which screened at the Dharamshala International Film Festival. Next, she co-produced and marketed 'Mann Kasturi Re' a Marathi language feature film, which after a theatrical release in 2022, is streaming on Amazon Prime Video India. In 2023, she co-produced and distributed 'Minus 31-The Nagpur Files', her first Hindi language film to release theatrically with which she entered All-India Distribution and which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video India. Nisheeta studied film direction in Whistling Woods International and screenwriting in New York Film Academy. She also did a workshop on film distribution at University of Southern California. Her award-winning diploma film 'Phoolpakhru' is streaming on Disney+Hotstar India.
