- Short biography: Noomi Liljefors is a Swedish film director, writer and producer. She was engaged early on by SVT Sweden's National Television and became involved in making documentaries in the late 60's. In "Storsjukhuset/The Big Hospital" (1979) Liljefors described the big change in Swedish healthcare, specifically the newly developed and expanded Södersjukhuset in Stockholm. "Images from Säter - The Dangerous Men" in 1986 was an extraordinary documentary about a special ward at a mental hospital, in which Liljefors allowed the inmates describe their lives and the place they were locked in. Noomi Liljefors continued to tell stories about social issues on film into the 21st century.
