- Short biography: Yong Fu is a renowned film producer and director who is also involved in creating commercials, promotional videos, microfilms, and music videos. Born in Sichuan, he grew up in Tibet and later moved to Beijing. His works have won numerous international and domestic awards over the years. He graduated from Beijing Broadcasting Institute in 1987. From 1987 to 1993, he worked as a director and cinematographer at Tibet Television, producing documentaries such as "Remote Loba" and "August in the Qiangtang," which won the Golden Boy Award and the Minority Golden Bull Award, among others. From 1993 to 1999, he worked at Guangdong Commercial Television and Guangzhou Television as a director, producer, and supervisor, focusing mainly on directing commercials, promotional videos, and documentaries. From 2000 to 2015, he served as a director and producer at Phoenix TV, where his works won multiple annual awards. The documentary he directed, "Ice Blood in Chosin Lake", won the Best Documentary Award at the 29th Golden Rooster Awards in 2013 and the 15th Huabiao Awards. The Golden Rooster Awards are the highest honors in the Chinese film industry, and the Huabiao Awards are also one of the three most prestigious film awards in China. "Lang Lang's Song" won the Best Documentary Award at the 13th Huabiao Awards in 2009. Additionally, he directed "Deep Breath", China's first environmental documentary, which was screened globally. In 2013, it won the French Citizen Award at the 3rd European Documentary Jury Prize, the 2012 Best Documentary Award at the 26th China Television Golden Eagle Awards, and was nominated at the 2011 Canada Environmental Film Festival, among others.
