Plot
Storyline
After being arrested during a manic episode, a man who suffers from bipolar disorder is treated by a psychiatrist who begins to develop romantic feelings towards him.
After a manic potentially life threatening episode at a construction site where he was able to charm himself into a job, Mr. Jones is arrested, taken to a psychiatric facility, and placed under the care of Dr. Elizabeth Snow, referred to as Libby by her closest friends. Over time, she diagnoses him as bipolar, the depressive side of the illness with him being potentially suicidal. He is aware of his illness, he resisting any medication to stabilize his condition in having an affinity to the mania which makes him at least feel alive. It ends up being a push and pull between the two as she begins to show a special emotional interest in him beyond that of a doctor toward a patient.
