Plot
Storyline
A rich young society girl falls in love with a car mechanic. Her family is appalled and stops her seeing him. The girl attempts to commit suicide and then decides to elope.
When a young girl's snobbish mother tries to break up her romance with a local garage worker, the couple elopes in his unreliable little sports car. Pursued by police, their parents, and the newspapers, they face many obstacles while trying to reach Scotland where they can legally marry.
