In the year 2141, terrorists travel back to 2012 to assassinate a key ancestor, prompting the future government to warn 2012 authorities. To stop the plot, a special task force—whose name references "out-of-place artifacts"—is recruited to locate and neutralize the timeline-altering assassins before history is rewritten.
