Plot
Storyline
On her 40th birthday, Amelia makes a fateful wish to be 18 again back in 2002 but soon regrets it when she's stuck reliving the day over and over again.
On her 40th birthday, Amelia finds herself lonely and stuck in a dead-end job, wistfully dreaming of her glory days as a popular 18-year-old in 2002. After a freak accident involving a bus, she miraculously wakes up in her teenage bedroom on the day of her 18th birthday. Initially thrilled to relive her "perfect" life, Amelia soon realizes she is trapped in a time loop, forced to relive the same 24 hours over and over. As the novelty wears off, she must look past her teenage narcissism to repair a fractured friendship with her former best friend, Fiona, and figure out the true meaning of "moving on."
