Plot
Storyline
A movie fan in a remote farmland strikes a relationship with a homeless female vagabond.
China, remote countryside, Cultural Revolution: an escaped convict from a labour camp is trying to see a news reel in which his estranged daughter can be seen. When he has located the village where the news reel is to be shown it is stolen by a local girl who needs the celluloid to save her little brother.
