The team tackle two mines simultaneously and bring in a master opal cutter, hoping to transform rough stones into a $100,000 haul. The Misfits are flooded out of their open cut mine and return to Honey Hole with custom-made machinery; a giant chainsaw attached to a bobcat, desperate to turn a profit on the last dig of their season. Sofia and Isaac from the Opal Whisperers are threatened by a mine roof collapse as they struggle to extract opal from crumbling walls. Isaac attempts to make a profit by cutting and polishing their last opal find for the season, but risks destroying the stones in the process.
