Plot Storyline
It has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in.
Henderson, Nevada, 2011. Five years after Katie went on a possessed rampage and vanished with her infant nephew Hunter in Paranormal Activity 2 (2010), the supernatural activity resurfaces when the Nelson family takes in Robbie, a strange neighbourhood boy. As a series of increasingly violent paranormal occurrences takes over the household, teenager Alex and her tech-savvy boyfriend, Ben, rig up their laptops and an Xbox Kinect to record the house at night. What they capture on camera reveals a sinister presence targeting Alex's younger brother, Wyatt. With her parents oblivious to the imminent danger, Alex must protect her sibling from Robbie's imaginary friend-- a demonic force that has come to claim the boy as its own.
