Something evil stirs in a close-knit Latino community in Oxnard, California, following the events of Paranormal Activity 4 (2012). When their eccentric downstairs neighbour, rumoured to be a witch, is murdered, high school graduates Jesse and Hector let curiosity get the best of them and sneak into her apartment. Looking for cheap thrills, the boys instead find themselves in hostile territory: among the hair-raising findings is a photo of Jesse himself.
