Plot Storyline
Paul Vaucher, a manufacturer of furniture sees his business go down and decides to rob banks to pay his staff. Het gets romantically involved with one of his victims.
Pierre Vaucher is a cabinetmaker working in his father's small furniture workshop. After his father suffers a heart attack and is forced to stop working, Pierre takes over the family business and discovers it is on the brink of bankruptcy. To pay the workers and try to save the workshop, he decides to rob banks and post offices. During these crimes, he meets Nelly, who becomes his accomplice.
