Storyline
A poor man, in love with a princess, is persuaded by an evil sorcerer to help him get the blessing of a Goddess.
Thota Ramudu (N. T. Rama Rao), son of a lowly gardener, falls for the princess of Ujjain (Malathi). Her father, the king of Ujjain, sets a challenge before him to prove himself worthy of the princess's hand. Nepala Manthrikudu (S. V. Ranga Rao), a sorcerer, contacts Ramudu and promises that he can help him in his mission, aided by the goddess Patala Bhairavi. However, Ramudu is not aware of the sorcerer's real plan: to sacrifice this young, brave lad to the goddess in order to attain a magic statuette, which would grant any wish.
