After all, surprise is a rare commodity for him. However, light and shadow coexist. And sometimes, the long-forgotten yesterday emerges when we least expect it. As a late-night encounter disrupts the balance of the gentle restroom attendant's life, even Hirayama must confront the past he has worked so diligently to put aside.
