Plot
Storyline
Confronted with a malevolent interrogator in a Soviet prisoner-of-war camp, a young Polish lieutenant fights for his life and the soul of his country.
The year is 1939. The world is descending into chaos. Thousands of Poles, held captive in a former monastery by the Russians, are being subjected to relentless indoctrination. An ambitious agent of the adversary makes it a point of honor to break one of them. It's the renowned young pianist, esteemed among his fellow prisoners. Should he falter, the enemy's influence may overtake many. A devious game begins, filled with refined manipulation, threats, and promises. Can a young artist, devoted father, and loving husband win the duel with an agent who wields all the power and trickery of the Russian regime?
