Plot
Storyline
Small-town Indiana girl Lily Mars dreams to be a stage actress. She begs visiting Broadway producer John Thornway for a role but he dismisses her as an amateur. She follows him to New York and worms her way into his show, and his heart.
Broadway producer John Thornway thinks he's seen it all. Preparing his next show in his hometown, he meets his match in Lily Mars, a small town girl with a big dream: to star on Broadway. When Lily follows John to New York, the two fall in love and Lily gets her big break. But an unexpected surprise awaits before the curtain rings down on the sumptuous finale to their story.
