Plot
Storyline
Alejandro is an aspiring toy designer from El Salvador struggling to bring his unusual ideas to life in NY. As time runs out on his work visa, a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast becomes his only hope to stay in the country.
Alejandro, a young optimist from El Salvador, has a big dream: to make a name for himself as a toy designer. Instead, things go downhill when Alejandro loses his current job while waiting for a response to his dream internship application. With only 30 days to find a new sponsor before the US government deports him, Alejandro's future looks bleak. That is until Elizabeth, a high-energy force of nature, offers him a deal--she'll sponsor his stay in the country if he helps her pull off an unforgettable gallery show. But as Alejandro finds himself trapped in visa limbo, cold doubts creep into his mind. Is Alejandro the problem? What if the cure is worse than the disease?
