Years before meeting Shrek (2001) and Donkey and the events of Shrek 2 (2004), Spanish lover Puss in Boots was a wanted fugitive on a mission: to find the three magical beans leading to the fabled goose that lays golden eggs. However, Puss isn't the only one after the legendary beans. And as Puss crosses paths with a long-estranged childhood friend and a stealthy cat burglar, the unlikely companions embark on a dangerous quest to claim the grand prize. But their decision doesn't sit well with Jack and Jill, a notorious outlaw couple. Can Puss right a wrong, or will he spend nine lives trying to clear his name?
