Plot
Storyline
A real estate agent's murder pulls Detective Tom Nichols into a widening investigation where suspicious partners, buried grudges, and unsettling evidence expose deeper dangers beneath a seemingly peaceful suburban community.
Detective Tom Nichols arrives at a brutal crime scene after real estate agent Summer Elswick is murdered inside a vacant property. As Tom and Detective Dan Cleary investigate, suspicion falls on Summer's boyfriend Will Grady, her estranged husband Sam Gifford, and local troublemaker Eli Phillips. Evidence appears to point toward a straightforward solution, yet Tom remains unconvinced. With support from his wife Judy, he continues pulling at loose threads that connect powerful figures, hidden business interests, and troubling inconsistencies. Each discovery increases the pressure on Tom as the case expands beyond a single homicide and into something far larger.
