Plot
Storyline
Two employees at a medical supply warehouse accidentally release a toxic gas from a misplaced top-secret U.S. Army shipment, causing the dead to rise from a nearby cemetery with an insatiable hunger for human brains.
Frank (James Karen) accidentally releases a military gas while trying to impress new employee Freddy (Thom Mathews), unleashing a chain reaction that infects cadavers, cemetery corpses, and eventually the living themselves. As Freddy's girlfriend Tina (Beverly Randolph) arrives with a group of punk friends, the contamination spreads through rain, smoke, and panic. Bodies rise faster than authorities can react. Inside the nearby mortuary, friendships collapse under fear, desire mutates into hunger, and every rescue attempt produces more dead flesh clawing at the doors. The survivors keep moving, talking, screaming, bargaining, but the city has already begun rotting around them.
