Plot
Storyline
The story's protagonists are three people: Anna, a wealthy middle-class 35-year old woman who owns, together with her mother and her brother, a factory in the northeast of Italy; she has a love affair with 25-year-old Mara, who works in the factory; then there's Anis, a young man from Maghreb who suddenly storms into their lives.
Anna and Mara return from a holiday in north Africa and realize that Anis, a young moroccan immigrant, managed to hide in their car in order to cross the border to Italy. At first unsure of what to do, they then decide to take him with them. "SHELTER" deals with issues raised by sexual orientation, coming of age, immigration and work related problems.
