With a cryptic message specifically asking for Detective Eric Matthews, Jigsaw lures a heavily armed SWAT team into his lair for his latest masterpiece of pain. Following the events of Saw (2004), a fresh batch of eight strangers, all with something in common, find themselves trapped in a new death game, forced to engage in a deadly contest of wits and wills. Once more, the rules are simple: those who follow the instructions and eliminate the competition will have a fighting chance to win. The rest are replaceable.
