Plot Storyline

Ten years after the original Woodsboro murders, one of the survivors returns home to promote their new book about surviving trauma, only for a new Ghostface killer to emerge, targeting a new group of teens.

Fifteen years after the original Woodsboro murders, Sidney Prescott returns to her hometown on a book tour, only to find herself once again targeted by a Ghostface killer. As new and old friends are drawn into the chaos, the killings mimic horror movie tropes from a new generation obsessed with fame and media. With police and survivors racing to uncover the killer's identity, the film reinvents the slasher formula while satirizing modern horror culture, legacy, and the cyclical nature of violence.
