Plot
Storyline
A talented teenage singer/songwriter living amid domestic abuse becomes a YouTube sensation after a video in which she hides her identity goes viral.
Insia, age 15, wants to become a singer. She convinces her mother Najma to allow her to ask her father Farookh to let her take part in a music competition, first prize a laptop and one year of free Internet.. Farookh is very rude and abusive toward them, so Najma doesn't get a chance to bring Insia's wish to him, but she manages to get Insia a laptop, and Insia discovers that many people are reaching their friends through YouTube. Najma suggests that Insia post her singing video on YouTube by donning a Burka. Insia does, and starts her own channel which she names "Secret Superstar". She soon becomes an Internet sensation and catches the eye of Shakti Kumar, a talented but rude music director.
